Mutant, in partnership with Milan Records, and Sony Pictures, are proud to present the premiere vinyl release of legendary composer Joe Hisaishi (Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, Boy and the Heron) debut American film score, for Koganada's 2025 film A Big Bold Beautiful Journey.

Scratching an itch left by the brilliant Yann Tiersen's score Amelie, Hisaishi's score is nothing short of sublime.  

If that wasn't enough, this album also features five song performances by Grammy®-Award winning performer and songwriter Laufey, as well as a cover of The Who's song "Let My Love Open The Door" by Mitski.
